The whole plant can flush a striking shade of magenta when moderately stress by direct sun, drought, or cool temperatures at around 50F. It produces small, yellow, daisy-like blooms. It will take roots at node on soil contact. 
  • Need well-draining cactus and succulent soil with a 50% to 70% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite. 
  • This oft succulents is frost sensitive. House them indoors when there is a risk of freezing temperature arise. 
  • It can be ground indoors in a sunny window with natural light or  under grow light. They need ample sunlight, good drainage, and infrequent water to prevent rot. 
  • Water deeply till water is run out of drainage.  Water frequency:  Only water when soil is fully dry.
