(Othonna capensis) commonly called Ruby Necklace.  The whole plant can flush a striking shade of magenta when moderately stress by direct sun, drought, or cool temperatures at around 50F. It produces small, yellow, daisy-like blooms. It will take roots at node on soil contact.  Need well-draining cactus and succulent soil with a 50% to 70% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.  This oft succulents is frost sensitive. House them indoors when there is a risk of freezing temperature arise.  It can be ground indoors in a sunny window with natural light or  under grow light. They need ample sunlight, good drainage, and infrequent water to prevent rot.  Water deeply till water is run out of drainage.  Water frequency:  Only water when soil is fully dry.
